“Don’t Let Them Get Lost” é um projeto Erasmus+ que visa a problemática da integração de alunos imigrantes ou refugiados. Esta questão, devido à situação atual na Europa, é extremamente pertinente e desafiante para os países europeus, nomeadamente para a sua classe docente.
O Agrupamento de Escolas Dr. Flávio Gonçalves fez-se representar em mais uma mobilidade deste projeto, em Bucareste, Roménia. Os países participantes - Itália, Portugal, Sérvia e Turquia foram acolhidos pela escola secundária “Dante Aglieri” situada nessa capital.
Para além das reuniões de trabalho de troca de experiências e de vivências culturais, destacaram-se duas atividades pela sua pertinência e efeito enriquecedor. A primeira reporta-se a aulas de abordagem a várias línguas, lecionadas pelos diferentes parceiros, com o intuito de enfatizar a necessidade da aprendizagem de novas línguas num mundo de mobilidade. A segunda foi a visita a um centro de refugiados em Giurgiu, em que os participantes contactaram com a dura realidade daqueles que procuram novas oportunidades de sobrevivência.
Esta troca de experiências tornou-se muito profícua e motivadora para os docentes deste agrupamento que, cada vez mais, vivenciam a difícil tarefa de acolhimento a alunos imigrantes/refugiados.
"Don't Let Them Get Lost" is an Erasmus+ project that addresses the issue of integration of immigrant or refugee students. This issue, due to the current situation in Europe, is extremely pertinent and challenging for the European countries, namely for the teaching staff.
The Group of Schools Dr. Flávio Gonçalves was represented in another project mobility, in Bucharest, Romania. The participating countries - Italy, Portugal Serbia and Turkyie - were hosted by the "Dante Aglieri" secondary school located in this capital.
In addition to work meetings to exchange experiences and cultural experiences, two activities were highlighted for their relevance and enriching effect. The first relates to lessons in various languages, taught by different partners, with the aim of emphasising the need to learn new languages in a world of mobility. The second was a visit to a refugee centre in Giurgiu, where the participants came into contact with the harsh reality of those seeking new opportunities for survival.
This exchange of experiences became very fruitful and motivating for the teachers of this school, who are increasingly experiencing the difficult task of welcoming immigrant/refugee pupils.
